MEET THE INSTRUCTORS

Meet Amanda Jackson

Your lead instructor for this training, Amanda Jackson, fell in love with yoga at age 24 when it helped heal chronic back pain and brought strength and balance to her body and life. Now an RYT-500 with over 2,000 teaching hours, Amanda brings deep experience and heartfelt presence to every class. Her training includes international study with renowned teachers like Rolf Gates and the School Yoga Institute in Guatemala.

Amanda teaches a wide range of styles—including Vinyasa Flow, Hot Yoga, Gentle Restorative, Prenatal, and Sound Healing—and is passionate about guiding others on their teaching journey. As the owner of two yoga studios and a leader of international retreats, she’s dedicated to creating sacred spaces and living the 8 Limbs of Yoga as a daily practice since 2019.

Meet Audrey Henriquez

Her yoga teacher journey started in 2019, completing her 200-hour training. She’s teaches a wide range of styles—from hot and sweaty vinyasa to grounding restorative and yin—and completed additional trainings, including Sound Meditation and 300-hour advanced certification with over 1000 hours of teaching in a studio setting.

A lifelong teacher at heart, Audrey spent years in the classroom teaching middle schoool math before realizing her true calling was to guide others in a different way. Today, she brings her love of teaching into the studio, creating a welcoming space for people to explore self-care, movement, and mindfulness. Whether it’s a dynamic flow or a deeply restful practice, Audrey meets students where they are—adapting yoga to fit their lives and needs.

Meet Kaitlyn Romei

A passionate yogi from Birmingham, Alabama, Kaitlyn fell in love with yoga as a kid and never looked back. With over 700 Yoga Alliance hours (including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, and studying with legendary teachers like Sharath Jois in India), she’s taught more than 1,000 classes, led Mysore programs, and managed studios. Lately, Kaitlyn’s been exploring contortion and handstands—bringing playful depth to her practice. Off the mat, you’ll probably find her baking bread or enjoying lakeside life with her husband and pets in the mountains of Leeds, Alabama.
